David joined the Rainforest Team in February of 2003.
As a child, growing up David spent every possible moment exploring the wooded area by his family home. Having a lifetime fascination with nature and the outdoors, Rainforest Reptile Shows seemed to be a perfect fit.
David received his wildlife Biology degree from Framingham State College, Mass. In the year 2001, he worked on an extensive research project on the spotted salamander. This research is still on going today.
David decided he had interested in applying what he had learned over the years to encourage children to appreciate the natural world around them. He did this by volunteering his time educating children. One of the ways he approached was by working with children from the age of kindergarten to third grade at The Garden in the Woods in Framingham, Mass.
Through the years David has had a variety pets from birds to cats to dogs but, if you ask him he will tell you that his favorite of them all is his bearded dragon lizards. Some of the things David enjoys doing in his spare time are bird watching, hiking, photography and playing basketball. |
